Margaret Gillan
'Stopping Violence and Anger Management Programmes'

Margaret is one of our "Stopping Violence" and anger management educators and has extensive experience running community programmes. Before joining GCC she spent many years working with the Mataura Youth Opportunity Trust, Prisoners' Aid, work development and foster homes.

Margaret's Motto is: "I shall pass this way but once, so any good thing that I can do to help my fellow man let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."
 
 
Audrey Kennedy
'Manager, Gore Counselling Centre'

Audrey manages the day to day activities of the centre.

Jennifer Schollum - Clinical Team Leader
'Sexual Abuse, Women Survivors of Domestic Violence, Grief and Stress Counselling'

Jennifer has been practising for nearly 20 years and specialises in sexual abuse counselling; counselling for female survivors of domestic violence and counselling for grief and loss, depression, stress and eating disorders. She is a clinical supervisor and has worked with other counsellors, student counsellors and people in ministry for 10 years.

Previous to this she worked with young people as a teacher for 25 years.

Jennifer's Motto is: "Humans are precious, resilient and wise. We get stuck when things no longer make sense; counselling helps people to make sense of their lives and to move forward."
 
 
 
 
 
Jean Pawsey
'Women's Programme Educator/Counsellor/Social Worker'

Jean is the Women's Domestic Violence Programme Provider. She has 27 years experience in working with people in the Social Work field. Jean is a specialist in working with women and children who have been affected by domestic violence. She also works with men, women and children in counselling to manage life issues, depression, grief and relationships and so forth.

Jean's Motto is: "Anything's possible."
 
 
The Centre also employs two other Family Court counsellors and one psychotherapist who specialises in Self-Psychology.
